If TWC asked you to provide documents, you can upload them using our online UI Submission Portal. The procedures and policies of Alaska’s UI program are based on Alaska statutes and regulations. Alaska administers different types of UI programs — and when available, State Extended Benefits and Federal Extensions.
If you call during business hours, you may provide a callback number. When an agent becomes available, the system will call the number and connect you with an agent. You may also be offered the opportunity to connect with a virtual agent. DUI does not provide assistance through text message and will not send any links asking a claimant to verify their account through text. Employer Resources
We make nightly changes to the claimant system from 11 pm – 3 am, and the system will be temporarily unavailable during this time. All e-mails from legitimate DUI staff will come from a @maryland.gov e-mail address. Regular UI benefits must have been exhausted on or after July 1, 2019. All outstanding payments for Quarter 1, Quarter 2, and Quarter 3 of calendar year 2021 which were deferred under the RELIEF Act are due by January 31, 2022.

Division of Unemployment Insurance
Unemployment benefits are taxable income reportable to the Internal Revenue Service under federal law. You must report all unemployment benefits you receive to the IRS on your federal tax return. Alaska's Unemployment Insurance program is dedicated to providing unemployed workers fast and accurate payment of UI benefits. With the seasonal nature of much of the state’s workforce and Alaska’s vast remoteness, UI benefits serve not only to bridge the economic gap for the individual worker, but also as a stabilizing influence on local economies. Claimants are required to provide proof of their employment in order to be eligible for PUA. Our offices and claims centers will also be closed Monday, December 26, 2022. Electronic Correspondence allows you to receive most, but not all, of your unemployment notices and forms electronically in a secure, online mailbox. You are responsible for regularly checking your online inbox, regardless of whether you receive an email notifying you of new mail. All Electronic Correspondence documents are also available as accessible versions for visually impaired customers. All workers are required to register for work and to actively seek and report weekly work searches to be eligible for benefits.
Our team of specialists work to support the re-entry of Utah’s skilled workforce into full employment. Funded entirely by dedicated employer contributions, the unemployment insurance program provides qualified workers who are unemployed through no fault of their own temporary benefits to help bridge the gap between jobs. All claimants must actively search for work by completing at least three valid reemployment activities each week, which must include at least one job contact. Claimants must satisfy the active search for work requirement to maintain their eligibility for UI benefits. On Sunday, July 4, Maryland LABOR reinstated the standard active search for work requirement for all claimants receiving regular unemployment insurance benefits.

This may be different from the week of unemployment for which the benefits were paid. Reimbursable employers with fewer than 50 employees may elect to defer payment of their bills for the first 3 quarters of 2021. Employers who choose to defer these payments must pay them on the due date for the fourth quarter of 2021. Reimbursable employers with fewer than 50 employees may receive authorization from DUI to defer payments for the calendar year 2022 until a date which DUI will establish.

All outstanding payments for Quarter 1, Quarter 2, and Quarter 3 of calendar year 2021 which were deferred under the RELIEF Act are due 30 days after the fourth quarter Benefit Charge Statement of 2021 is issued. The Maryland Division of Unemployment Insurance will post 1099-G forms in BEACON for the 2021 calendar year by January 31, 2022.
If TWC requested your Work Search Log information, submit your work search activities. Once you sign up, you will continue to receive most of your TWC correspondence electronically until you opt out. You must opt out to stop receiving documents by Electronic Correspondence and return to paper mail.
